“Tastng Gang” is a blend that was born from a very special occasion: when, on 12 April 2019, 23 of the greatest Caroni enthusiasts from all over Europe gathered in Cognac to taste the last 173 Caroni barrels from Trinidad and Guyana. The meeting was not only intended to taste the Caroni but also to celebrate the end of the aging of the last existing barrels that have definitively left the tropical climate – a climate that, after more than 20 years of aging, with very strong angel shares , could have negatively affected the rums. The liquids were then removed from the barrels and transferred to glass or steel containers, where aging officially stopped. So these Caroni, ready to be bottled for the next releases
